I’m thinking about the folks in relationships that I talk to and they’re talking about how great it was when they were single, and at times when their relationship is getting rough they wish they could go back to those days…I think once you’re in a serious relationship and you get that kind of feeling, you tend to forget that the high points of the single life really only last about, 19 mins. Every 2 days. All the time in between that is pretty much…you alone.

I’m hoping if I ever get that “I miss the single life” feeling in my future relationships I remember that the single life was not me living it up in a jacuzzi with models like I’m a rapper, or I wasn’t hooking with some random hawt chick every night I went out. It was a lot of me sitting at my computer, thinking about someone I apparently can’t find yet, or hasn’t found me yet.
